Semi-rápidas de Abril: Se impone Pedro Meseguer

GRAN TORNEO DE MESEGUER
Posiblemente Pedro Meseguer ha jugado el mejor torneo de su vida liderando la tabla de principio a fin y proclamándose campeón en solitario.

El torneo se ha jugado por sistema suizo a seis rondas con un ritmo de juego de 25+10" por jugador.
El segundo lugar ha sido para Carlos Tena y el tercero para Albert Tortosa, el premio al mejor Sub-14 se lo llevó Jorge Fuster.
Tomaron parte 16  jugadores que lucharon cada partida y que dieron emoción al torneo por la igualdad en la tabla en las últimas rondas. Regresó al ajedrez activo Andrés Antón, destacado en los campeonatos Sub-10,12  y 14 en los que obtuvo el título de campeón de Elche escolar y que reaparece con 15 años y logra un magnífico quinto lugar.
Finaliza así este evento y se anuncia ya otro torneo de semi-rápidas para el viernes 16 de mayo y que seguirá los viernes 23 y 30, será el torneo de mayo de semi con un ritmo de 25+10". El incremento de tiempo ha sido bien recibido por los socios participantes.
